Updated Arrival and Dismissal Procedures at Hugh Bish
As many of you have noticed, a new fence is being installed at Hugh Bish. We are very excited to have this added safety measure. Please continue reading for a few changes in arrival and dismissal procedures.
Arrival
All students who are arriving at school in a vehicle need to be dropped off in the car line in front of the school. Many students are being dropped off at the east end of the building near the gym causing heavy traffic congestion for our bus and day care drivers. Students should also not be dropped off in front of the school on the south side. There is only one lane for arrival and it is closest to the building.
Dismissal
All students being transported in a car should be picked up in the car line. Please do not park in the neighborhood or in front of the school and walk up to pick up your child. Please display your family number in your front window. If you need additional family numbers, contact the office. There is only one lane for dismissal and it is closest to the building.

Walkers
All walkers will be dismissed after the car line has finished. Parents and family members who walk to the school to escort students may gather on the small concrete pad just outside the front door to pick up your student when they are released after car line is finished.
